About Us

Welcome to Foglight for vCloud Director

Foglight® for vCloud Director enables Foglight to monitor a virtual vCloud Director infrastructure. Better management of services can be achieved when you are alerted of infrastructure problems before end users are affected. This ensures consistent application performance at established service levels. Foglight for vCloud Director monitors the health of your virtual system by tracking resource consumption such as CPU, network, and memory consumption for individual Provider VDCs, Organizations, Organization VDCs, vApps, virtual machines and the related vSphere resources in your integrated environment.

Note: Foglight for vCloud Director requires that Foglight for VMware is installed and enabled on the same Foglight Management Server. For complete information about Foglight for VMware, see the Managing VMware Environments User and Reference Guide.

These Release Notes cover the resolved issues, known issues, workarounds and other important information about the 5.8.2 release of Foglight for vCloud Director. Review all sections before starting the installation.
