This 5.7.3 release of Foglight for OpenStack accompanies the release of Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition 8.6. It includes the following new feature:

Foglight for OpenStack supports the Group A hypervisors (KVM) according to the OpenStack™ classification. For more information on the KVM hypervisor, see the OpenStack Hypervisor Support Matrix.
Before installing Foglight for OpenStack, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements.
|Operating System||Foglight for OpenStack can be installed on any supported Foglight Management Server or Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition configuration, as listed in Upgrade and compatibility.|
|Platform, Memory, and Hard Disk Space||The platform, memory, and hard disk space requirements for the monitored servers must match the Agent Manager requirements. For complete information, see the System Requirements and Platform Support Guide.|
By default, the Identity service stores expired tokens in the database indefinitely. It is recommended to periodically flush expired tokens from the database table. For more information, see: http://docs.openstack.org/admin-guide-cloud/content/flushing-expired-tokens-from-token-database-table.html.
Check that the keystone.conf file has been updated with the cloud's public and admin endpoints:
Foglight includes a licensing capability that restricts access to those features that are defined in the license. Any Management Server installation requires a license that grants access to server-specific parts of the browser interface and the features associated with them. Foglight cartridges are also license-protected. While some cartridges are covered by the base Foglight license (such as Foglight Agent Manager cartridges and the Cartridge for Infrastructure), others may require an additional license.
Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition and Foglight for OpenStack require separate licenses.
